10/20/09
5:30 - 8:30 PM
Kentucky Center for the Arts
501 W. Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202
Join YPAL and the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in celebration of YPAL's 10th anniversary! Federal Reserve economist Dr. Howard Wall will present his ground-breaking research on the demographic effects of recession: how your gender, race, marital status, and education level shape the negative effects you are experiencing in the current recession. Dr. Wall's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion of his findings; panelists include:
- Moderator: Julie Tam (Fox 41 journalist)
- Cash Moter (YPAL President)
- Carolyn Gatz (Principal at Gatz and Associates; Founding Director of the Greater Louisville Project)
- Dr. Nat Irvin (Professor of Management at University of Louisville College of Business; Founder & President of Future Focus 2020)
The structure of the evening will include a complimentary reception and networking from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Kentucky Center lobby, with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Bomhard Theatre. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, there is no cost to attend this event! All attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the event to contribute to YPAL's goal of collecting 10,000 canned goods for Dare to Care and Kentucky Harvest.
Be sure to register for this event today - space is limited and attendees must be registered in advance to attend. You won't want to miss this exciting event!
