Geoff White, President
Oversees the entire YPAL Organization, including Executive Committee.
Geoff is an attorney at Frost Brown Todd, where he generally represents lenders, developers and other stakeholders in a wide variety of commercial real estate projects. He has represented lenders in closings of over $1 billion in 40 states for the purchase, refinance or construction of office parks, apartments, nursing homes, senior living, retail centers, and hotels.
Geoff earned his bachelor’s degree in 2000 from Mary Washington College with a double major in history and political science. He earned his J.D. in 2003 from the University of Michigan Law School. Geoff is also a member of the Board of Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI), the Leadership Louisville Center, Louisville Energy Alliance (LEA), the Crossing Generations Society of the Louisville Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Louisville Chapter of the University of Michigan Alumni Association.
Geoff lives in the outer Highlands with his wife Krissie and his son Cole.
This is Geoff’s fifth year as a YPAL member. He is the prior Director of Diversity and has been active in the Community Outreach, Recruiting and Professional Development Committees in years past. Geoff looks forward to the continued growth of the organization in the years ahead.

Abbie Gilbert, President-Elect
Assists President with the strategic direction of YPAL, serves as a liaison between YPAL and its Advisory Council.
Abbie has been with The Kentucky and Southern Indiana Group of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for the past two years in Recruiting and Development where she oversees the companies College Recruiting Program consisting of over 20 Colleges and Universities across the region.
Abbie has served actively on YPAL as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and also as YPAL’s first Director of Membership, concentrating on strengthening the membership benefit for YP’s involved in the organization. Abbie received one of the “Outstanding Young Professional” awards in 2010 for these membership efforts.
Abbie serves as the College Chapter Director the Delta Zeta Sorority at the University of Louisville, is a member of the University of Louisville Young Alumni Council, Metro United Way Program Review Team and D.R.I.V.E Louisville YP’s Mayoral Advisory Council.
Abbie graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and enjoys running, aerobics and anything that involves the sun and water.

Cash Moter, Immediate Past President
Advises YPAL’s President, Board, and Executive Committee.
Cash is an Architect with Joseph & Joseph Architects. He is responsible for design-and-construction oversight of building projects. During his time at Joseph & Joseph, Cash has worked on a wide range of projects, including a 40,000-square-foot health center, an 83-unit urban-loft apartment complex, post offices and office buildings.
Cash is a graduate of Clemson University, from where in 2002 he earned a bachelor’s degree in science. In 2004, he earned his master’s degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee in 2004. While in school, Cash served on various committees and boards, including the American Institute of Architects Student Chapter at Clemson and the Graduate Student Senate at University of Tennessee. Cash is a Registered Architect in the State of Kentucky.
Cash lives in downtown Louisville with his wife Tara, son Quinn, and their two dogs. This is Cash’s fifth year with YPAL. He has served on the Board as the Director of Community Outreach, Vice President of Community, and President.

Tracy Keller, Vice President of Administration
Oversees Public Relations and Technology committees.
Tracy is a project manager at ProMoter Inc., a marketing communications firm specializing in creative and effective communications solutions for its clients. Tracy is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations. She earned her master’s degree in mass communications from Murray State University.
Tracy joined YPAL in the fall of 2008 and served as the Director of Public Relations during the 2009-2010 term. She is excited to work alongside a talented admin team, which aims to continue building upon YPAL’s esteemed foundation as a well respected organization within the community as well as the premier organization for Louisville’s young professionals.
Tracy is a true Highlands lover who regularly takes advantage of the beautiful Olmsted Parks a few steps from her backyard, which she is a volunteer. She stays active by running, swimming, cycling, kayaking and dancing to live music.

Lauren Libert, Vice President of Community
Oversees Community Outreach, Diversity, and Public Issues committees.
Lauren graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She is currently taking MBA courses at Indiana University Southeast.
Lauren works for Humana as a Project Manager within Medicare Product Development.
A native to Chicago, IL, Lauren arrived in Louisville in the summer of 2006 and became an active member of YPAL later that fall. For the Community Outreach committee, Lauren was the Assistant Director of Community Outreach in 2008/2009 and Director in 2009/2010.
Outside of YPAL, Lauren volunteers as a Board member at Thomas Edison House and Krannert School Alumni Association. She also as volunteered for events and served on multiple committees to benefit other non-profit organizations, including but not limited to American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Arthritis Foundation, Every1Reads Program, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Metro United Way.
Lauren's goal for this year as a part of YPAL's Board is to connect each committee to one another in hopes that collaboration will bring a richer experience to the members of YPAL through events that impact the community on a whole new level.

Phillip Roberts, Vice President of Development
Oversees Recruitment, Membership, Entertainment and Professional Development committees.
Phillip Roberts has a Bachelor’s of Science from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Economics. While attending Kentucky Wesleyan College he played soccer on scholarship and served as team captain his junior year.
Previously, Phillip worked as a Financial Advisor with Amerprise Financial in Indianapolis for 3 years prior to moving to Louisville. He is now the Manager of New Financial Consultant Development at Hilliard Lyons, where he manages two programs providing 1-on-1 coaching for practice management and business development to Financial Consultants at Hilliard Lyons.
This is Phillip’s third year in YPAL and second year on the Board of Directors. Previously he served as Director of Professional Development. Phillip also serves on the Board of Directors for Carriage House Educational Services and Preschool and is an active member of Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Alumni Association.
Phillip lives in Crescent Hill and in his free time enjoys playing soccer and golf, watching University of Kentucky athletics, and spending time with friends and family.

Amy Gumlaw, Treasurer
Oversees YPAL's financial operations.
Amy is a Louisville native and a senior audit manager with Mountjoy Chilton Medley, LLP. Here she has developed a specialized knowledge in the manufacturing industry and in forensic accounting. She has a proficiency in internal controls and speaks occasionally on fraud prevention and detection.
Amy is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accounts and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Amy and her husband, Steve live in Oldham County with their two beautiful children Ethan and Alli.

Kelly Schulz, Secretary
Maintains YPAL records, contracts and meeting minutes.
Kelly is a bankruptcy and restructuring attorney at Frost Brown Todd, where she represents creditors in a wide variety of bankruptcy and restructuring projects. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, she was Senior Counsel at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in 1997 from the University of Kentucky with a major in political science. She earned her J.D. in 2001 from Northern Kentucky University Law School.
Kelly is also a member of Executive Committee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the St. Albert Board of Education and very active in her church, St. Albert the Great.
Kelly lives in Prospect with her husband Chris and three children, Jackson, Ally and Benjamin.

Matt Fillipps, Director of Community Outreach
Responsible for setting up and providing volunteers for events that benefit the community and non-profit organizations. Community Outreach engages and empowers YPAL's membership through meaningful service and leadership opportunities that improve the community's social, economic, and environmental needs.
Matt is currently a Business and Pricing Analyst at PharMerica Corporation where he handles in depth profitability analyses, financial modeling and forecasting, and other ad hoc projects for potential new clients as well as current customers.
After growing up in Florida all his life, Matt moved to South Carolina to attend Furman University for his undergraduate studies. Upon earning his Bachelor's in Communication Studies in 2004, he made yet another move to Lexington, KY where he began a career in Real Estate. After three years in that profession, he decided it was time to move on and obtain his MBA. From the summer of 2007 through the summer of 2008, Matt attended the University of Kentucky full time and completed his MBA in June 2008.
Matt knew immediately when arriving in Louisville in the winter of 2009 that he was interested in getting involved in a young professionals organization. With that in mind, Matt began a very active involvement with YPAL's Community Outreach and Entertainment Committees. In June 2009, he began a one year term at the Assistant Director of Community Outreach. Since then, he has assisted in planning and organizing events such as the Special Olympics Regional Games, YPAL Community Connections events, a YPAL Day at the Zoo with Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, the Dare to Care Hunger Walk, and Salvation Army Angel Tree. This year, as Director, Matt is looking to continue to grow and improve upon the success of the Community Outreach Committee. In his spare time, Matt enjoys several different sports and activities such as soccer, volleyball, tennis, running, kickball, softball, and swing dancing.

Sundar Sridharagopal, Director of Diversity
Works hand-in-hand with other community organizations to make culturally diverse programs available to YPAL members. The Diversity Committee provides a minority-issues forum, through which new opportunities for community diversity are embraced and explored.
Sundar is a VP of Information Technology and Business Development for the Digital Software Technology LLC, where he is responsible for providing customized software solutions, IT strategic planning, business process mapping, extensive process reengineering & optimization and outsourcing services for various clients.
Sundar holds a MBA degree in Entrepreneurship from University of Louisville and MS in Computer Applications from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He is also an Ignite Louisville 2009 graduate. He is interested in volunteering non-profits. He is one of the founding members of Kentucky Tamil Sangam, which is an Indian language based cultural non-profit organization to promote Tamil language and culture. He is a board member of The Steward Staff and also serves in Hindu Temple of Kentucky’s management team.
He has been active with YPAL since 2006. His goal is to bring diversity and technology professionals to YPAL, attract young professionals to our city and make Louisville is the best place to live.
Sundar lives in the East End with his wife Bama and their daughter, Amritha. In his spare time, Sundar enjoys volunteering, networking, traveling and predicting astrology & numerology.

Lauren Chitwood, Director of Entertainment
Responsible for coordinating events to provide young professionals with the ability to network. The Entertainment Committee plans and coordinates signature events like YPAL’s Martini Party and Annual Dinner.
Lauren is a University of Kentucky graduate with a degree in advertising. Lauren Lauren Chitwood Events was founded in 2008. Her company designs, produces, and manages events for both corporate and private clients. Lauren Chitwood Events’ work has been featured both locally and nationally.
Lauren has been an active member of YPAL since 2008. She was influential in the 2010 Leadership Lunch Series, and has served on the entertainment committee.
As the Director of Entertainment, Lauren hopes to increase attendance at existing YPAL functions, as well as initiate new events to promote the social and networking aspects of YPAL.
Lauren lives in St. Matthews with her husband, Nick, and their puggle, Lily. When she’s not working, Lauren is an avid reader and social networker. Lauren is looking forward to her board term this year and all of the events that lie ahead.

Mindy Smith, Director of Membership
Primarily responsible for retaining current members and addressing membership concerns to facilitate increased involvement and retention.
Mindy holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Art from the University of Louisville. While in school Mindy was actively involved in the Beta Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority and Panhellenic Council as Vice President of Services/ Community Service Director and was a recruitment counselor.
Currently as a Membership Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, Mindy develops and implements an annual membership recruitment and retention plan that services girls and adults for the Metro Service Center. She also serves the Family Partnership and Fund Development liaison for the service center as well as oversees the annual Summit Fall Fest 5K.
Mindy has been a member of YPAL since 2007. She has been active on the Community Outreach Committee. She has enjoyed volunteering and helping with the Special Olympics, Green Tie Bash, and attending Leadership Lunches. Mindy is eager to help YPAL members get connected and engaged in the organization and in their community.
Mindy also enjoys music, traveling, adventure, sports, volunteering, and all things tennis.

Chris Bailey, Director of Professional Development
Offers professional development opportunities to meet needs of membership.
Chris works as a Purchasing Manager at Bailey Tools & Supply, Inc. His responsibilities include purchasing, vendor relations, inventory management and database maintenance. He is a fourth generation employee in the growing family business. Prior to his current position, Chris worked in outside sales and for UPS as a supervisor.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Louisville where he received a Bachelors of Science in Management with a minor in Marketing. He remains very active in the University of Louisville Young Alumni Association and enjoys watching his home team play basketball. Chris was awarded the honor of YPAL 2010 Outstanding Young Professional and recently became a Kentucky Colonel.
In his time with YPAL, Chris has served on the Community Outreach and Entertainment Committee, as well as organized the signature 2010 Community Connections event and a YPAL team in the Kentucky Derby Festival Bed Races. As the Director of Professional Development, Chris is excited to host innovative events that will allow fellow YPAL members to enhance their leadership and professional potential.

Emma Brown, Director of Public Issues
Works to provide Louisville's young professionals with opportunities to play active roles in impacting the city's future. This year, the Public Issues Committee will focus on planning a Mayoral Debate and the Young Professionals Day at the Capitol, among other events.
Emma is the North Regional Director for the KY YMCA Youth Association, the nation’s largest YMCA-run Youth In Government organization. Emma works with students across Kentucky to promote civic engagement and social responsibility. She is a DePauw University alumna, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management in 2007.
Emma serves as a national volunteer for the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and as a local Alumni Council member for DePauw University.
Emma has been a member of YPAL since 2009, and is currently serving her first term on the YPAL Board. Previously, she assisted with the Public Issues Committee Federal Reserve event and YP Day at the Capitol. She is excited to see the Public Issues Committee become even more active this year.
A Louisville transplant, Emma lives in Lyndon with her two dogs, Bella and Charlie. She has recently become an avid runner and enjoys weekly volleyball games with friends.

Tiffany Fults, Director of Public Relations

Tiffany is the Business Development Director at Frost Brown Todd. She is responsible for the marketing and development efforts for the Louisville and Florence, Kentucky offices as well as five of the Firm’s practice groups. Tiffany is a two-time business owner and inventor.
She is a graduate of Indiana University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. She was awarded the 2009 Alumni of Excellence award, a National Communicator Award of Distinction in 2001 and has served on several Boards and committees throughout Louisville and southern Indiana.
Tiffany lives in southern Indiana with her three children, Hailee, Hannah and Kevin and enjoys taking music lessons with them and serving in the community.
Tiffany is new to the YPAL Board this year and is excited to use her service as Director of Public Relations to gain awareness of the great work the organization brings to the community.

Courtney Reeves, Director of Recruitment
Primarily responsible for recruiting new members to facilitate increased involvement and retention.
Courtney is the Practice Development Coordinator with Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP, where she coordinates the firm’s client events and advertising. She serves as in-house designer for all firm marketing and branding efforts. She is a member of MCM’s Recruiting Committee and coordinates university presentations and recruiting events.
She will earn her Associates degree Summer 2010 and will then pursue her BSBA in Marketing from the University of Louisville. Her accomplishments include winning the logo contest for Young Professional Association of Louisville’s new look in 2008 and receiving the 2009 YPAL Outstanding Young Professional award. Courtney has been an active YPAL member since 2007 with a focus in diversity, serving as Assistant Director of Diversity from 2009-2010 and committee member previously.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, Adrian, and their 2 pugs, Herman and Lily.
This year she plans to drive committee wide collaboration for YPAL’s recruitment efforts, as well as young professional associations throughout Louisville.

Bryan Baker, Director of Technology

Maintains the YPAL website, email and other technical aspects of the organization.
Bryan Baker has worked with the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as Sports Information Director since January 2006. In this role, he supervises the SID efforts of the ten member schools and coordinates media efforts at postseason tournaments. He is also webmaster for the conference and manages the KIAC website. Before his current role, he was an intern with Bellarmine University in 2005 and the Mid South Conference in 2004.
Baker is currently seeking a Masters degree in Applied Information Technology from Bellarmine University. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in communications, after previously attended Western Kentucky University in the Broadcasting and Journalism Department. At Western Kentucky, he worked with WKYU PBS on a student run satellite network helping broadcast Hilltopper Athletics.
Baker has been involved with Young Professionals Association of Louisville since November 2009. Besides his time on the Technology Committee, he works with the Public Relations and Entertainment Committee. He has been instrumental in the Sports Subcommittee to plan sporting events and activities for YPAL members and received a 2010 YPAL Most Outstanding Professional Award.
A long time resident of Louisville’s East End, Baker is also a member of Toastmasters International.
