Every year, during YPAL’s annual survey, members ask for more professional development opportunities.  Louisville’s YPs are not only interested in networking and civic engagement but also in how they can hone their professional skills to maximize success.
About the Program:
Excelerate is YPAL’s newest professional development program, designed to offer practical skills for Louisville’s YPs in a fun, interactive setting. Excelerate programs will be conducted on a quarterly basis cover fresh, exciting issues that YPs face on a daily basis.
Time Commitment:
These are full day and half day workshops generally held on weekdays. The day consists of panel speakers and break sessions for interactive learning and engagement.
Cost:
The cost of Excelerate Workshops varies based on length of workshop but typically ranges from $50 – $100. This cost includes program materials and at least one meal.  There are scholarships options available.
