Young Professionals Association of Louisville is getting an inside look at a C-Level Executive’s journey to the corner office in its newest series: Unbuttoned. The quarterly series will highlight the rise (and occasional fall) of executives who will share their experiences and give advice to YPAL members in a casual, candid and interactive Q&A session. The event is sponsored by MCM.
Kicking off the Unbuttoned series is Paul Costel, President of the Kentucky Market for JPMorgan Chase Bank on January 28 at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Paul has worked in banking for more than 30 years, including the past 20 for JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor organizations. Paul led the Louisville commercial banking team from 2000 to 2008 when he was promoted to President of the Kentucky Market. He currently serves on the boards of Greater Louisville, Inc., Leadership Louisville, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Fund for the Arts, Downtown Development Corporation and the Kentucky Center Endowment. He is past chair of the board for Maryhurst, Family & Children’s Place, Leadership Louisville and Actors Theatre. He formerly served on the boards of Metro United Way of Kentucky, St. Francis School, and Second Presbyterian Church. Recently, he helped the Mayors of Louisville and Lexington with the BEAM initiative.
