-Favorite restaurant in Louisville?

I love sushi, so I always enjoy going to Oishii. Their rolls are enormous and fresh.

What is the best career advice you have received?

One of my mentors told me to never go anywhere without paper and pen – that there is always an opportunity to learn and to always be hungry for knowledge.

-What is your favorite thing about being a YPAL member?

Meeting so many incredible young professionals in Louisville from a variety of industries. It is easy to get caught up in your own field, so to branch out of that niche and network with people your own age is wonderful.

-Have a fun hobby?

I love being outdoors and connected to a board. I love wake-boarding, surfing and snowboarding. I also love to eat, so when I travel I try to knock off as many Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives as possible.

-Coolest place you have ever traveled?

El Salvador. This year I met my father for the first time and found out I have five siblings and 5,000 relatives in El Salvador. In January, my mom and I travelled there for my birthday and met a ton of my family I had no idea existed.

-The coolest person you have ever met?

In college, I took an honors class which included studying the Beatles. After the semester wrapped up, we went to Liverpool and London. While we were in Liverpool, we got to have dinner with Paul McCartney’s brother, Mike.

-Involvement outside of YPAL?

I am on the Public Relations Society of America board and the planning committee for Dress for Success.
