502 Power Yoga works with multiple non-profits all over the city to empower individuals on and off the mat. Their Baron Baptiste Power Vinyasa style ignites your mind, breath, muslces and brings about total body integrity. With their community karma classes, they raise awareness and money to support their partners. Community karma classes are all donation based classes. Check out their schedule and make a class. With the Kentucky Yoga Initiative, their mission is to build healthy and compassionate communities by empowering individuals to Ignite change in their lives through the transformative practice. Inner Warrior on Frankfort practices all sorts of styles depending on what the yoga teacher studied. They offer a donation based class on Wednesdays at 7:30 weekly. You have to register for these classes as the space is small, but it’s totally worth it! More details here!
Wanna do yoga and drink beer with some rad yogis post mat status? Never miss a Monday as they are all over the city!! Instructors from 502 PY host the Brew Guru every Monday at 7:00-8 with a happy hour to follow. Flat 12 Bierwerks in Jeffersonville, IN is closed on Mondays, but they open for yogis. Goodwood Brewing Company also has a Monday night session held by the Bend and Zen studio. Details here!
You could also step up your Buti game with Buti Yoga at Play! This is INTENSE and you will SWEAT like there is no tomorrow. Their Buti Yoga costs $10 a session, but totally worth every penny!
