Louisville, KY – Louisville Mayor Greg Fisher has proclaimed November 14th, 2014 as “Young Professionals Day” in Louisville. This announcement comes as YPAL will celebrate their 15th anniversary and as they host the inaugural YP Unite Summit!
YPAL will celebrate this proclamation on November 14th with other young professional groups from Nashville, Indianapolis, Lexington, Asheville and Cincinnati at the inaugural YP Unite Summit in Louisville at Churchill Downs.
“We’re excited to be working with groups similar to ours in the region to provide next generation leaders with an opportunity to connect, build relationships and share best practices,” said Ann Marie Kelly, YPAL’s Executive Director. “The YP Unite Summit will leave participants with tangible plans for success from some of the region’s most influential political, business and civic leaders.”
The Summit kicks off 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 14th with networking, cocktails and night racing at Churchill Downs. On Saturday, November 15th, attendees will meet at Stites & Harbison, PLLC in downtown Louisville from 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. for group discussions, networking and a presentation from keynote speaker and Brown-Forman Chief Entertaining Officer Tim Laird.
