Meet our Emerging Leaders Program Spring 2021 Cohort!

by | Mar 23, 2021

Covid-19 has impacted our community and challenged all of us in unprecedented ways the past year. However, through the hardship, it has also encouraged the Young Professionals Association of Louisville to focus on our ongoing commitment to serve and develop young professionals during this time. We accepted what we were unable to control and dove headfirst in ways we could continue committing to our vision and serving our mission. YPAL is proud to welcome the largest Emerging Leader’s Class to date. We think this is an important time to serve as many young professionals as we can and are so excited to announce this upcoming class.

34 young professionals were selected to participate in YPAL’s 17th Emerging Leaders Program. These young professionals represent one of Greater Louisville’s greatest resources: talented young people committed to making our community a better place to live, work, and play. The Emerging Leaders Program is one of the most significant ways that YPAL grows and nurtures talent in our region.

Over the next three months, these individuals will take part in an accelerated and intensive experience designed to address the leadership development needs of emerging professionals. They will finish the program with a clear understanding of their strengths, values and personality in the context of becoming a more effective leader.

Their class project revolves around leadership and the qualities that an ideal leader should possess. The program has been successfully adapted to an all-virtual platform. New this session, our participants will engage in a class dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the perspective of emerging leadership.
