Meet the Intern: Emmanuel Fasipe

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am currently a senior at Bellarmine University studying English and Communication. I have a passion for creativity and the arts. I have been involved in photography, writing, and currently a DJ with the Bellarmine Radio Station. 

Favorite restaurant in Louisville?

I don’t have a favorite restaurant unless coffee shops count. I am a coffee lover with a knack for good coffee shop vibes. 

Book recommendation?

I love One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. It is a compelling story about the power of family and community.

What makes Louisville weird?

Louisville is such a vibrant community of diverse people. I think our diversity is our superpower and our ability to respect and interact with people of different backgrounds

What is the best career advice you have received?

Have passion for what you do and let it guide you. 

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I love fried plantains!

Coolest place you have ever traveled?

I love big cities and I think for now Boston has my heart. 

Anything else cool you want to share?

I am an avid lover of poetry, jazz, and coffee.
