New Intern: Eiman Zuberi
Meet YPAL’s New Intern, Eiman!
– Where do you go to school?
I’m a graduate student at the University of Louisville, getting my Masters degree in Sports Administration.
– Why did you choose Louisville?
I have lived here since I was 7 (I was in New York before that) and I love the city. I enjoy the people, the mix of small town feels with a big city vibe and of course, the food scene. Louisville is home.
– What makes Louisville weird?
I saw this tweet the other day: In Louisville, “speed limit 55” translates to “if we all go 80, they can’t pull us all over” and I think that’s so beautiful.
In addition to our Louisville inside jokes, I think people coming together in this city, regardless of backgrounds, and enjoying the little joys it has to offer help make it one of the greatest cities.
– Favorite restaurant in Louisville?
Mojitos is one of my all time favorites. You can’t go wrong with their shrimp.
– If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Any and all forms of potatoes.
– Coolest place you have ever traveled?
Dubai was my favorite international city. I also love New York but I’m biased. Recently, I went to Minnesota for the Super Bowl and although it was the coldest place I have ever been to, I really enjoyed seeing the city come to life with all the Super Bowl festivities.
