Community Catholic Center, an organization that supports Catholic education for students living in Portland and West End neighborhoods, is looking for mentors to serve in its Mentoring Program.
Students in grades 7-12 are matched with an adult mentor who serves as a role model and who supports the student in his/her academics, extracurricular activities, and other educational opportunities. We ask the mentors to initially commit to one year and meet with their students about once a quarter and keep in contact with them regularly (approximately every two weeks).
We are in particular need of male mentors for our middle school and high school boys.
