The Louisville Drop Shots Tennis League began in the Spring of 2015 as an opportunity for those young adults looking to get back into the game or looking for a healthy, fun sports option, a no-pressure league to get some time on the court. Targeting 21-40 year olds, USTA Kentucky organizes all teams and matches to ensure the most enjoyable tennis experience for everyone. Players from beginners to seasoned league players have participated over 2+ years and continue to come back. Music every night and a post-match get together at Saints Pizza and Pub have been competitor favorites.
In the Spring of 2017, the league is also expanding to a 2nd weekly night of play. After each session up to that point was held Tuesday nights at Seneca Park, there will now be a new session at Tom Sawyer Park on Thursdays. League play begins in the spring on April 25th (Seneca) and April 27th (Tom Sawyer). Each session lasts 8 weeks and is 2 hours each night. Players also can receive a $5 per player bonus for each new player they bring into the league. To register for one or both nights, you can fill out a simple registration form here.
