The Foxhollow Farm 9th Annual Fall Festival
Saturday, October 8th
Foxhollow Farm is look for volunteers for their Annual Fall Festival!
Foxhollow Farm is a 3rd & 4th generation family-owned grass-fed beef farm. A huge part of their mission is to create a thriving farm community, and for us that means connecting our farm to other mission-aligned organizations and folks in the surrounding community through our annual Sunset Concert Series and Fall Festival. Over the past 8 years of the Fall Festival, Foxhollow Farm has donated more than $80,000 to Maryhurst, providing support and expanding this local nonprofit’s critical therapeutic, medical, and educational services to the more than 150 children in their care each day.
Some practical information for potential volunteers:
For volunteers, the day is broken into two 5-hour shifts, and all volunteers receive a free t-shirt and free parking (volunteers may bring their families in the car with them to enjoy the festival at no additional cost). The morning shift is 9:30am-2:30pm and the afternoon shift if2:00pm-7:00pm. Volunteers may sign up for either or both shifts.
We need volunteers to help our staff operate the Pick-your-own pumpkin patch, Corn Maze & Sheet Maze, Pumpkin Painting with Maryhurst, Carnival games (Duck pond, bottle toss, butterfly balloon toss, fish pond), Silk scarf tie-dyeing in partnership with the Waldorf School, Hayrides, Pony rides & petting zoo. Volunteers are given their role assignments and t-shirts at check-in prior to their shift. There will also be runners circulating throughout the event, checking on volunteers, relieving them for restroom breaks, and providing water and snacks.
Volunteering at the festival is fun and easy. More details are available on their landing page and sign up form.
