“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
-Dr. Seuss

There’s wisdom in that whimsy, y’all. And a call out. The great Dr. Seuss would have turned 113 on March 2, and we can celebrate by answering his call. Let’s do this!

What: LINC Seuss & Sips – “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So…get on your way!” In this case, great places = the Kentucky Science Center, and our mountain = their Cardboard Corral, a space where our community’s youngest kiddos can play, explore, imagine and learn in a world of cardboard creations made just for them. By us. We’ll cut, craft, and build with the help of experts. No artistic skill required. (Can you guess the theme? Think Truffula trees, tall hats, mischievous cats…) Then, think drinks. We’ll have snacks and raise a glass to the great Theodor Seuss Geisel himself and his dream of empowering all people.

When: Thursday, March 2, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Where: Kentucky Science Center, 727 W Main St.

Why: “A person’s a person, no matter how small,” and we can make a difference for the littlest ones in our community. The Cardboard Corral experience introduces and strengthens developmental skills key to ensuring children are ready to learn when they enter kindergarten and on a path to success throughout school. Plus…“If you never did you should. These things are fun, and fun is good.”

This event is FREE, but space will fill up quickly. So RSVP today!
