Nonprofit Spotlight: YPAL Foundation Board of Directors

Nonprofit Spotlight: Looking for a nonprofit board? Have grant writing experience
We have an opportunity for you! The YPAL Foundation is expanding its Board of Directors. This board position will look to build out the organization’s Grant Applications functions – experience in grant writing and applications will be a major plus for the position and organization.
Here is a bit about the YPAL Foundation:
YPAL Foundation (previously YPAL Cares) is the foundational support organization for the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL). Its mission is to provide resources, collaboration, and philanthropic support for the programming offered to Louisville’s young professionals as they become more engaged for the benefit of their local community. Within its first year, the YPAL Foundation built the first Platinum LEED home in Kentucky in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville. In 2013, YPAL and the YPAL Foundation help created the Emerging Leaders Program which is now in its seventh year.
The YPAL Foundation encourages and enables Greater Louisville’s young professionals to give back to their community by using their time, talents, and resources. The YPAL Foundation works with YPAL on special events, volunteer opportunities and fundraising actions.
The Foundation is a volunteer organization, run by a board of young professionals. Over the course of your one or two-year commitment you will have the opportunity to make a great impact on our community’s young professionals. The Board of Directors meets monthly, usually on Wednesday morning. If you are interested in becoming a YPAL Foundation Board Member email the Foundation President, Jon Cayot at Foundation@YPAL.org
