Find out more about our Advisory Council Member, Chris Brice!
I have always been a southerner. I grew up on the south shore of Long Island! In whatever job I have had, I think a common thread has been that there has been a teaching component. I love it because I get to help people realize their true potential. In my role now, I oversee the selection of talent to join our team and help develop them so they can run and direct their own careers as financial advisors. It is exciting to watch them grown and to see the positive impact they have on the lives of their clients.

AS A CHILD, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP:
A career in politics.
WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH YPAL:
I am always looking for fresh ideas to fuel my personal growth. I also love my city and want to help it flourish. Hanging out with the YP crowd lets me do both.
I met my wife the first hour I was here in 1992. Sarah is from Louisville. Need I say more?
Camp Counselor. The best career training I ever had.
Gates of Fire. The one thing that drives a great warrior is the same thing that should drive us all.
PERSON YOU’D LIKE TO MEET:
Henry Kissinger. In his prime, he dealt with complex issues between conflicting parties with great skill. My dad has that ability.
FAVORITE THING TO DO IN LOUISVILLE:
I am a NY guy. I love social activity on the street. Whether it’s with my wife, kids or dogs, I can walk Bardstown Road for hours on a nice afternoon or summer night. Of course, there are multiple stops for refreshments.
Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot
BEST ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO YOUNG PROFESSIONALS:
Give a damn and do something about it.
