We love to show off our city. From award winning hotels like 21C to world renowned horse races and music festivals, our members have good reason for choosing Louisville as a place to live and work. With the help of our immediate past president, Shannon White, YPAL was able to secure the 2007 YP International Summit bringing 250 young professionals from across the country to Louisville for a weekend in September. The focus of the summit was community initiatives: how to attract and retain young talent and build better places to live and work. It was a valuable learning experience for participants and proved to be an even better opportunity to showcase what makes our community a great place for young professionals.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the summit and helped entertain our guests. We’ll do our best to provide experiences like these in the future!
