LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 24, 2023) — Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL) is dedicated to giving its members and community leaders the opportunity to see new venues, support local businesses and visit neighborhoods around the city.

Since YPAL returned to in-person events in the summer of 2021, the organization has hosted events at more than 15 different neighborhoods around Louisville. YPAL is proud to show off the best Louisville has to offer at some of the best places around the city, along with meeting our members where they live, work and play. Below is an event map of everywhere YPAL has visited in the past two years:

This year, YPAL has featured events at historic venues like The Palm Room in the Russell neighborhood or new businesses like Number 15 in downtown on Main Street, along with ever-popular spaces like the Louisville Zoo and Slugger Field. There were 51 YPAL and partnered events this year, attended by 3,103 event registrants.

As part of YPAL’s mission to create a vibrant, welcoming young professional community in Louisville, the organization has also prioritized its commitment to downtown Louisville. YPAL leadership believes the city of Louisville is at its best when downtown Louisville is at its best. That’s why YPAL partners with Louisville Downtown Partnership and holds board meetings and events around downtown.

“We’re proud of downtown and we want to show it off to our members, guests and people new to Louisville,” said Cassidy Hyde, executive director of YPAL. “We’ve grown as an organization as downtown Louisville has grown, and YPAL will continue to focus on promoting new venues, businesses and organizations that call downtown home.”

As YPAL moves into 2024, the organization will prioritize connecting, engaging and developing its members and others throughout the city of Louisville.

“A better connected city creates a stronger Louisville for all of us,” Hyde said.
