LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2025) —Thanks to the generosity of members, partners and the Louisville community, YPAL surpassed its fundraising target during Give for Good.
The board of directors achieved 100% donation participation, demonstrating full commitment to supporting Louisville’s young professionals and the future of the community.
“I’m thrilled with the success we had during Give for Good Louisville. We had 100% participation from our Board of Directors, which speaks volumes about their commitment to YPAL’s mission,” said Grace Huneck, YPAL Executive Director. “While we had participated in the past through the YPAL Foundation, this year was especially meaningful as it marked our first time participating as YPAL itself under our new 501(c)(3) status.
“It’s a clear reflection of the exciting new chapter we’re in as an organization. Growing a stronger young professional community today directly shapes the future generation of leaders in Louisville, and I couldn’t be more excited about the path ahead for YPAL.”
YPAL raised money for the Young Professional Development Fund, which helps young professionals in the Louisville metro area attend trainings and conferences, develop professional skills and earn certifications or credentials.
After a review, applicants may be awarded full or partial funding based on their request and the funds available. The fund serves as a catalyst for young professionals across the city who are working to sharpen their skills and advance their careers. Any young professional in the Louisville metro area can apply, as long as the funds are used for approved professional development purposes.
YPAL believes every young professional should have access to the training and development tools that help make Louisville stronger.
